Eagles open season at UWO Titan Classic

MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's golf team got their first taste of competition this season at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Classic on Saturday and Sunday. The Eagles finished 10th in the tournament, led by Dana Marshall's score of 199.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Dana Marshall posted the Eagles lone sub-100 round on Saturday, shooting 97 at the Oshkosh Country Club. Her two-day total of 199 put her in 53rd place overall.
- Fellow senior Kendelle Grube improved by four shots on the second of the tournament, shooting 107 on Sunday and finishing with a score of 218. Molly DuCharme was right behind Grube on the leaderboard with a score do 224.
- Jamie Ring improved by a team-high 19 shots on the second day with a Sunday score of 142.

FOR THE FOES
- Host school UW-Oshkosh won the title with a 36-hole score of 647, beating UW-Stout who shot 670. UWO's Kayla Priebe was the individual medalist with matching 76s for a total of 152.

UP NEXT
- The Eagles will travel to the other side of the state next weekend to play in the Viterbo University Invitational at the La Crosse Country Club in Onalaska. Edgewood College will tee off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
