DELAVAN, Wis. – Playing against the deepest, largest field they've seen this season, the Edgewood College women's golf team posted identical scores on each day in their final tune-up for next week's NACC Championships. The Eagles placed 15th overall with a 36-hole total of 838.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood College's team score of 838 smashed their previous season-high by almost 90 strokes. It marked the Eagles best ever 36-hole score under third year head coach Darcy Kelly, beating the team's score of 849 set last year at the same event.
- The Eagles best feature of the weekend was their consistency from Friday to Saturday. Dana Marshall posted two sub-100 scores, shooting a 98 on Friday and a 97 on Saturday.
- Kendelle Grube also had a score in double digits, shooting 99 on the first day and finishing with a two-day total of 200. Molly DuCharme shot matching rounds of 110 for a total of 220.
- Taylor Maier was the Eagles' fourth counting golfer each day with a season-low 111 on the second day of the tournament. Maier finished with a score of 223. Freshman Sydney Wilcox also had a season-low with a second round score of 124 to give her a two-day total of 260.
UP NEXT
- The Edgewood College women's golf team will close out their fall season with the NACC Championships. After a late change of venue, the Eagles will take on the rest of the league at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville, Wis. The 54-hole tournament begins on Friday, September 30 and continues until Sunday, October 2.
