MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's golf team was finally able to hit the links for the first time this spring and battled against Lake Forest College at Odana Hills Golf Course. The Eagles shot 484 while the Foresters wound up with a team score of 363.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior Kendelle Grube, an Appleton, Wis., native, fired her second-best round of the 2015-16 season on Sunday after turning in a 100 (+28). She had four pars on the afternoon.
- Junior Wisconsin Dells, Wis., native Dana Marshall finished second for Edgewood College with a 111 (+39).
- Sophomore Verona, Wis., native Taylor Maier took third for the Eagles after finishing with a 124 (+52).
- Freshman Pewaukee, Wis., native Ashley Memmo rounded out the Edgewood College lineup with a 149 (+77).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Grube's 100 was her best 18-hole performance since shooting a career-low 96 at the Edgewood College Triangular this past fall on Sept. 10.
FOR THE FOES
- Alex Dunn was the top finisher on the day after firing a 15-over 87 for the Foresters. Teammate Anhayte Guajardo finished just one stroke behind Dunn with a 16-over 88 to finish second overall.
UP NEXT
- The Eagles wrap up the 2015-16 season with the two-day UW-Whitewater Spring Invitational on Friday, April 22-Saturday, April 23. The meet will take place at Delbrook Golf Course in Delavan, Wis.
