KANSASVILLE, Wis. – Senior Kendelle Grube capped her career tied for 20th place (304) in leading the Eagles to their second-straight, seventh-place showing (1320) at the NACC Championships this weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Seniors Kendelle Grube (T20th, 96-101-107-304) and Dana Marshall (T23rd, 101-104-105-310) led the Eagles in only their fourth, three-round tournament in school history
-Marshall played in her fourth and final NACC tournament and totaled her third-straight top-25 finish
-Grube led the team for the first time this season and was followed by Marshall, junior Taylor Maier (29th, 125-105-117-347), sophomore Molly DuCharme (114-125-120-359), and freshman Sydney Wilcox (140-161-136-437)
-Maier was the only Eagle to shoot her season-best round (105 in the second round) at the NACC Championships
-The Eagles played their first two rounds below their season average of 441.8, but posted a 449 final round
-It was the Eagles second-straight, seventh-place NACC finish after not registering team scores the prior two seasons
-Grube finishes career with 111.60 stroke average in 43 rounds while Marshall posts 100.90 average in 51 rounds
FOR THE OPPONENTS
-Aurora won their third-straight NACC team title (357-359-350-1066) by 43 strokes with four All-NACC players
-Wisconsin Lutheran finished ahead of the Eagles by 29 strokes after leading the Eagles' by one stroke after two rounds
