OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's golf team launched their 2015-16 campaign with a 10th place finish at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational. The Eagles shot nearly identical scores with a 463 on the first day and a 462 on the second day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood College faced a strong field of teams and a challenging course for their first meet of the season.
- Dana Marshall had a great start to her junior season breaking 100 in both of her rounds, while teammate Kendelle Grube was as consistent as possible, shooting 112 on both days.
- Betsy Ennis made her Eagles debut by shooting a 123 and 120. Taylor Maier played her first fall event for the Eagles and shot 129 on Saturday. Ashley Memmo also played her first event improving by 47 strokes from day one to day two.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- Marshall's 95 on Sunday marked a new career-low round. Marshall's previous career low was a 96 in the first round of last season's NACC Championships.
- Maier also established a new career-low with her first round score of 129.
- This weekend's tournament marked the first time the Eagles have fielded a full five-member team since April 23, 2014.
FOR THE OPPONENTS
- Host school UW-Oshkosh won the meet with a two-day total of 646, which was 35 strokes better than Viterbo University.
- The Titans' Laura Stair and Kayla Priebe finished first and second with scores of 157 (+11) and 158 (+12), respectively.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood College will host their only home meet of the fall season on Thursday, September 10. The Eagles will welcome Wisconsin Lutheran College and Concordia University Wisconsin to Yahara Hills G.C. in Madison. The first golfers will tee off at approximately 1:30 p.m.
