ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – Dana Marshall took fourth overall and was Edgewood College's top golfer Saturday afternoon at the Lakeland College Triangular by firing a 99 (+28) to help the Eagles capture a second-place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Lakeland College Muskies took the top-three spots in the completion to run away with the victory.
-The Eagles took the fourth spot thanks to Marshall's effort and also took 7th (Kendelle Grube's 109), 8th (Taylor Maier's 120) and 11th (Ashley Memmo's 140) in the 15-player field.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
-Marshall's 99 was the fifth-lowest score of the season that any Edgewood College golfer has turned in this season.
-Grube's 109 was her third-lowest round of the season. She fired a career low 96 at the Edgewood College Triangular and a 106 at the EC-WLC dual Friday afternoon.
FOR THE OPPONENTS
-Lakeland's Finni Simko (87, +16) earned medalist honors at the triangular while teammates Sami Jo Williams (89, +18) and Sophie Mosher (94, +23) were right behind.
UP NEXT
-Edgewood College is off until Friday, Sept. 25, when they will begin the two-day UW-Whitewater Fall Classic at Delbrook Golf Course in Delavan, Wis. The event is scheduled for a 1 pm start on Friday and a 9 am start on Saturday.
