COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's golf team fell in a rare dual meet Friday afternoon at Door Creek Golf Course, as the Eagles posted a score of 495 (+211) compared to Wisconsin Lutheran College's 362 (+78).

HOW IT HAPPENED
-All four Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors posted scores of 100 or better, while Kendelle Grube led all Edgewood College golfers with a 106 (+35).
-Taylor Maier posted the second-best score of her career with a 114 (+43) and finished third for the Eagles.
-Dana Marshall fired a 112 (+41) to finish second for Edgewood College. Ashley Memmo rounded out the Eagles lineup with a 163 (+92).
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
-All five Edgewood College golfers fired career lows last week at the Edgewood College triangular, but the rainy weather played a factor Friday in the dual loss.
-Grube has now fired a 112 or better in every single round in the 2015 season and is averaging a 106.5 on the year. Last season the Appleton, Wis., native had five such rounds all season and averaged 117.2.
UP NEXT
-The Eagles will dive right back into action on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Lakeland College Triangular. The meet will take place at Quit Quioc Golf Course in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and is scheduled to begin at noon.
