Eagles compete at Fighting Scots Invite

MONMOUTH, Ill. – In a field of 71 Golfers, the Edgewood College women's golf team fielded a trio at the Monmouth Fighting Scots Invitational. Freshman Dana Marshall led the Eagles in the one day tournament.

Marshall carded a 104 in her second tournament as an Edgewood College golfer to pace the Eagles. On her heels was Edgewood College's other two golfers, Melanie Chang and Paige Murdoch. Chang posted a 106 while Murdoch was just a stroke behind at 107.

Mount Mercy University took the tournament title with a team score of 315, just 27 over par. The Mustangs' Meg Monson earned medalist after carding a 77.

Edgewood College will be competing next weekend at the Benedictine Invitational. The two day tournament will begin on Saturday, September 14.
