FOND DU LAC, Wis. – In an 18-hole event at Whispering Springs Golf Course, the Edgewood College women's golf team carded their first team score of the season. After having three golfers in previous events, the Eagles added two more for the Marian University Quadrangular and finished fourth in the event.

Edgewood College was led by Paige Murdoch, who tied for sixth out of 19 golfers with a 106. The score was over her season average, but with just three golfers breaking 100, the freshman broke the top ten. Melanie Chang fired a 112 to finish tied for 10th on the par-72 course while Dana Marshall was just three behind her with 115.

The Eagles added two golfers to the mix as Brooke McBain and Sarah Rendon joined Edgewood College for the event. Rendon fired a 149 in her first collegiate event while McBain posted a 152 for the Eagles.

Edgewood College will take on the rest of the conference in the NACC Championships next weekend. The three day event will take place at Trappers Turn Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
