WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's golf team participated in the Benedictine Invitational this past weekend and despite preparing for a two day event, a heavy downpour forced the second round to be canceled. Dana Marshall cracked 100 for the first time in her career as an Eagle as she led Edgewood College with a 99.

In Marshall's third tournament for Edgewood College, the freshman was consistent on Saturday. Marshall posted a 49 on the front nine followed by a 50 coming in to tie for 47th out of 66 golfers.

Not far behind Marshall was Paige Murdoch, who carded a 102 at St. Andrews Golf Club. Junior Melanie Chang rounded out the trio with a 107 to place 57th.

Edgewood College will be back in action this Friday in the Luther Invitational. This two day event will take place at Oneota Golf and Country Club in Decorah, Iowa.
