Three finish in top half at conference

Paige Murdoch
WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's golf team participated in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship this past weekend and all three golfers finished in the top half of the field. Paige Murdoch led the Eagles with an 18th place finish at the 54-hole championship event.

Murdoch fired a 49 on the rain-shortened first day followed by a 101 on Sunday and final round 97. With the total, the freshman led Edgewood College for the fourth time in six tournaments and finished 18th out of 54 total golfers. Chang tied for 21st behind a season-low second round of 99. Marshall rounded out the trio after firing a 258 over 54 holes to finish 25th at the event.

Out of 12 total teams, Edgewood College was one of only five teams to have three golfers in the top 25. Concordia Wisconsin took the NACC Championship behind Nina Puch's medalist finish.

The Eagles concluded the fall portion of their schedule and will take some time off before returning to action in the spring.
