Meet Results (UW-W Spring Fling)

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's golf team closed out their 2011-12 campaign in style, winning the Benedictine University Invitational on the same course the Eagles won the Northern Athletics Conference Championship last fall. The Eagles scored 774, to outdistance both North Park University and host Benedictine University.

Amanda Bliske finished third overall, shooting an 88 at St. Andrew's Golf Course on Sunday for a two-day total of 182. Melanie Chang also notched a top five finish by shooting a 90 on Saturday for a score of 190. Toru Wuollett and Mary Moore rounded out the squad with scores of 199 and 203, respectively to put all four Eagles among the top 10 individuals in the tournament. North Park placed second with a score of 839, while Benedictine was third at 847.

Chang, Wuollett and Moore also competed as individuals on Friday at the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling. Chang led the trio with a  scored 101 at Riverside Golf Club in Janesville.
