MADISON, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's golf team shook off a winter's worth of rust in their first spring event of the year. The Eagles sent only a partial squad of three golfers to the Washington University Spring Invitational at Glenway National Golf Course in suburban St. Louis.
Emilee Guderyon fired a second day round of 89 on Sunday for the Eagles' lowest 18 hole score of the tournament. Guderyon finished with a two-day total of 192.
Melanie Chang shot a 96 on the first day, on her way to score of 202.
Mary Moore rounded out the team with a pair of 107s.
The Eagles will return to action at the end of April playing in the UW-Whitewater Invitational on April 20 and the Benedictine University Invitational on April 21-22.
