JANESVILLE, Wis. - To call the conditions at Friday's UW-Whitewater Spring Fling women's golf meet “less than ideal” would be an understatement akin to calling Pebble Beach “an OK golf course.” Despite the exodus of some teams, the Edgewood College women's golf team fought through the wind and rain to complete their rounds at Riverside Golf Course.

Emilee Guderyon was the low scoring Eagle shooting 44 on the front nine and finishing with a 16th place score of 94. Jenna Pfeffer was two shots behind at 96, which put her in 19th place. Mary Moore rounded out the squad shooting 118.

Edgewood College will complete their 2010-11 schedule next weekend at the Benedictine University Invitational. That tournament was rescheduled after being postponed on April 16-17.
