WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's golf team may have just four members, but if they play this well, they won't need any more. The Eagles claimed their first tournament title since the 2005 Lake Michigan Conference championship in claiming the Benedictine University Fall Classic. The Eagles shot a single round team score of 363 on Sunday, after Saturday's first round was rained out.

Junior Jessica Spitzer shot an 85, including a 41 on the back nine at St. Andrew's Golf Course, to take first place, becoming the first Eagle since 2006 to win individualist medalist at a tournament. Amanda Bliske and Emilee Guderyon tied for fourth place with a score of 93. Mary Moore shot her first sub-100 round of the year with a career-low score of 96.

The Eagles topped Marian University by 26 shots to take home the title. Host Benedictine University was third, followed by Aurora University.
