Four of next six games at home for Eagles

Brad DeVault

Three doubleheaders into the Northern Athletics Conference season, the Edgewood College baseball team has three splits to show for their efforts. The Eagles will look for their first conference doubleheader sweep of the season with six games in four days to end this week. Benedictine University and MSOE invade Stampfl Field, while the Eagles will travel to face Dominican University.

Edgewood College will be broadcasting all home games this season with live video and live stats. Links are posted on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com. Dominican will provide live stats and live video for Saturday's games at Alexian Field.

Edgewood College and Benedictine have split eight all-time meetings, but Edgewood College holds a 4-2 advantage since the teams become members of the Northern Athletics Conference.

Dominican leads the all-time series with the Eagles 6-4. The Stars took both games at Stampfl Field last year, winning 1-0 and 13-3. The last time the Eagles played at Dominican the teams split a pair of games.

The Eagles have won 20 of their last 21 games over MSOE and lead the all-time series 31-10. The last time the Raiders visited Verona in 2008, they left with a split, winning game two of the doubleheader 5-1.
