DANVILLE, Ind. - The Edgewood College women's golf team opened the spring portion of their 2009-10 season at the Katman Klassic hosted by DePauw University. Three Eagles competed among 42 golfers in the two-day event at the Twin Bridges Golf Club.

Emilee Guderyon shot a 96 on Sunday to lead her Eagle teammates with a two-day total of 202 and a 34th place finish. Mary Moore was just a few places behind, finishing 38th with a score of 218. Stephanie Leahan was the third Eagle with a score of 231.

The host school, DePauw University, won the event with a team score of 638 to edge runnee-up Illinois Wesleyan University by two shots. This Wednesday, Edgewood College will host Wisconsin Lutheran in a dual match at Windwood Golf Course in Watertown.
