Eagles finish second in only home invite of 2009

Meet Results

WATERTOWN, Wis. – Edgewood College placed second in their own triangular at Winwood Golf Course in Watertown, Wis. on Wednesday. The Eagles placed three golfers in the tournament's top ten.

Emilee Guderyon posted the Eagles low score of 91 which landed her in a tie for second, nine shots behind individual medalist Muriel McIntyre of Concordia University Wisconsin. Amanda Bliske continued her consistent play as she finished in a tie for fifth with Marian Universities Alex DeBoer, who both shot 94. In her first meet of the season, Jessica Spitzer finished ninth with a score of 104.

Concordia Wisconsin shot the low score of 363 to finish first in the meet ahead of Edgewood College and Marian, who both finished with scores of 418.

The Eagle will next travel to Wood Dale, Ill. where they will play in the Benedictine University Fall Classic on September 19-20.
