Eagle women seek seventh straight win on Thursday

MADISON, Wis. - The Edgewood College women's basketball team is seeking its seventh straight victory and 17th in its last 19 games when they host Maranatha Baptist Bible College in the regular season finale tomorrow night. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Todd Wehr Edgedome.

The Eagles (16-6, 14-2 NAC) have already surpassed last season's conference win total of 12 and aim for win No. 15 against Maranatha (7-15, 1-15 NAC) on Thursday night. They defeated the Crusaders, 65-47, less than a week ago in a make-up game from Dec. 8, and will try and take the season series when they tip-off at 7:00 p.m. at the Todd Wehr Edgedome.

On Saturday, Edgewood College will host Aurora University (16-8, 13-5 NAC) in a matchup of No. 2 seeds from the North and South Divisions to determine seeding for next week's NAC Tournament. It's the first time the Northern Athletics Conference has gone to a NAC Challenge format to precede the NAC Tournament. Saturday's game is schedule to start at 2:00 p.m.
