DECATUR, Ill.- The Eagle women's golf team went to battle against some stiff competition at the Millikin University Fall Classic over the weekend and finished 16th overall.

Edgewood College went up against some of the best teams in the region for its final tune-up before the Northern Athletic Conference Championships this weekend.

Amanda Bliske led the Eagles with a 73rd place finish after shooting a second round 91 while Erin Schaefer wasn't too far behind with two-day score of 205. Stephanie Leahan and Lorraine Heim were the remaining two competitors for the Eagles.

Highly regarded Illinois Wesleyan University took home the team title in the 16 team tournament hosted by Millikin University.

Edgewood College will host the NAC women's golf championships this Friday-Saturday at Glen Erin Golf Course in Janesville, Wis.
