LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Edgewood University track & field team competed at the UW-La Crosse Uncaged Eagle Open on Friday. Kylee Doherty claimed a pair of top-five finishes, as Ayden Price posted a fourth place finish and school record in the 200 meter dash. Ellie Lill and Tyler Mueller also competed for Eagles track & field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kylee Doherty finished second in the Javelin on Friday. The senior posted a distance of 42.65 meters to finish behind Marquette's Riley Ward who won the event with a throw of 43.97 meters. Doherty claimed a fourth place finish in the Discus with a distance of 43.17 meters.
- Ayden Price finished fourth in the 200 meter dash, breaking his school record time of 21.36 (0.0). Price added a sixth place finish in the 100 meter dash qualifiers with a time of 10.61 (2.7).
- Ellie Lill competed in the 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter. Lill ran an 18.44 (1.8) in the 100 meter hurdles prelims. The freshman added a personal-best time of 1:09.14 to finish 18th in the 400.
- Tyler Mueller represented the Eagles in the 1,500 meter run. Mueller finished 36th with a time of 4:03.50.

- Edgewood University will compete at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier on Wednesday, May 13. Action will take place from Rock Island, Ill.
