The Edgewood University track & field team competed at the St. Norbert College Last Chance Meet on Monday, followed by the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier on Wednesday and Thursday.
ST. NORBERT COLLEGE LAST CHANCE MEET
- Kylee Doherty dominated action in De Pere on Monday, the senior won the Discus and Javelin and took home third place in the Shot Put. Doherty took home a win in the Discus with a mark of 43.72 meters. She added a 42.38 meter distance in the Javelin for the win before claiming third place in the Shot Put with a distance of 12.60 meters.
- Tyler Mueller competed in the 1,500 meter run on Monday. Mueller came across the finish line in 4:05.17 as the only athlete in the event.
AUGUSTANA MIDWEST TWILIGHT FINAL QUALIFIER
- Doherty led the Eagles at Augustana with a third place finish in the Discus. The senior posted a 45.02 meter distance in the event. Keilley Riddle also competed in the Discus for the Eagles, finishing 11th with a mark of 35.95 meters.
- Mueller ran in the 1,500 meter on Thursday. The senior ran a 4:03.66 to finish eighth overall.
UP NEXT
- Final selections will be announced Friday, May 15 for individuals competing in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 21-23. Action will take place at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of UW-La Crosse.
