PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's track & field team competed at the UW-Platteville Invitation on Friday and Saturday. Tyler Mueller kicked off the meet on Friday night in the 5000 meter run. Ayden Price highlighted the Eagles on day two with a school record in the 100 meter dash and two second place marks.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mueller posted a personal record time in the 5000 meter run on Friday night. Mueller finished the distance in 15:22.75, which goes down as ninth fastest in program history.
- Price continued a strong sophomore campaign with a second place time of 10.76 (1.5) in the 100 meter dash prelims. Price followed that up with a school record time of 10.75 (0.1) to finish second in the 100 meter dash finals.
- Price added another second place finish in the long jump on Saturday, posting the third longest jump in program history at 6.73 meters (0.0).
- Mueller and Nick Pacubas represented the Eagles in the 1500 meter run on Saturday. Mueller finished 26th with a time of 4:12.46, while Pacubas set a PR time of 4:31.05.
- Pacubas added a time of 2:10.67 at the 800 meter distance.
- Yitzak Tristan ran a PR time of 56.45 in the 400 meter dash on Saturday.
- Price rounded out his schedule, coming across the finish line in 22.20 (0.1) in the 200 meter dash.

- Edgewood University will compete at the Augustana Meet of Champions on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. Action will take place from Austin E. Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex in Rock Island, Ill.
