HOW THEY GOT HERE
- Edgewood University defeated Cornell College in the NACC Tournament Quarterfinal. The Eagles scored five goals in the fourth quarter to defeat the Rams 11-5. Christina Eloe and Lauryn Brown led the Eagles attack with three goals each. Milli Shell dished out a game-high three assists.
- Aurora University went 8-1 in conference play during the regular season. The Spartans only loss came to Lake Forest College, an 11-9 final in favor of the Foresters. The Spartans claimed their second-straight second seed and the first round by with a consistent attacking performance, 14.67 goals per game in conference play.
LAST MEETING
- The Eagles and Spartans las met on Saturday, April 4 from Spartan Athletic Park. Aurora University took home a 12-5 win over Edgewood University. The Spartans scored four times in three quarters.
- Brown led the Eagles attack with two goals and collected three draw controls. Eloe collected eight ground balls, caused three turnovers, collected three draw controls and scored. Bella Braun recorded 10 saves in net for the Eagles.
- Nicolina Smith scored seven times and dished out an assist for the Spartans. Alle Pope and Alyssa Temple combined for 11 caused turnovers. Meghan Ginty recorded four saves in net.
NACC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- Aurora University owns an 8-1 record in the tournament all-time, with four tournament championships to their name.
- Edgewood University handed Aurora their first conference tournament loss in 2025. The Eagles defeated the Spartans 14-13 in overtime to reach the NACC Tournament Final for the first time in program history.
