MILWAUKEE – Kylee Doherty has been named the NACC Women's Field Student-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday. Doherty's performance in the Javelin continued to impress, as the senior continues to thrive in outdoor throws.
Doherty won the javelin throw at the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday. Doherty's distance of 43.67 meters was best and goes down as second longest in program history. Doherty added an eighth place finish in the discus with a throw of 40.11 meters and placed 10th in the shot put with a mark of 12.25 meters.
Doherty and the Eagles will compete at the Augustana Meet of Champions on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. Action will take place from Rock Island, Ill.
