PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The Edgewood University women's track & field team competed at the UW-Platteville Invitation on Saturday. Kylee Doherty posted a win in the javelin throw on Saturday afternoon. Ellie Lill and Keilley Riddle added PR marks in the 100 meter hurdles and javelin, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Doherty led the Eagles in the javelin on Saturday. The senior won the event with a distance of 43.67 meters, which is second longest in program history. Keilley Riddle added a PR mark of 29.41 meters in the event to finish 16th.
- Doherty claimed an eighth place finish in the discus with a distance of 40.11 meters. Riddle (33.30 meters) and Allison Foley (15.24 meters) also competed in the event.
- Another top-10 finish came for Doherty in the shot put. Doherty posted the sixth longest mark in program history, a 12.25 meter throw to finish 10th overall. Riddle (8.22 meters) and Foley (7.40 meters) also represented the Eagles in the shot put.
- Lill competed in the 100 meter hurdles prelims and the 400 meter hurdles. The freshman collected a PR performance of 19.04 (1.7) in the 100 meter hurdles on Saturday. In the 400 hurdles, Lill posted a distance of 1:21.84.
- Cadence Trimberger competed for the first time as an Eagle on Saturday. Trimberger ran a 13.95 (0.4) in the 100 meter prelims. She added a time of 28.98 in the 200 meter dash.

- Edgewood University will compete at the Augustana Meet of Champions on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. Action will take place from Austin E. Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex in Rock Island, Ill.
