DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Edgewood University women's track & field team competed at the Spartans Shootout, hosted by the University of Dubuque on Saturday. Kylee Doherty and Ellie Lill led the Eagles with top-10 finishes on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Doherty posted a sixth place finish in the shot put on Saturday. The senior's best mark of 11.87 meters was another top-10 finish. Keilley Riddle also competed in the event, posting a mark of 7.71 meters.
- Ellie Lill posted three personal-record finishes on Saturday. Lill ran a PR time of 1:16.76 in the 400-meter dash to finish ninth. The freshman followed that up with a PR of 32.08 in the 200-meter dash.
- Lill's third PR of the day came in the 60-meter hurdles prelims, where she came across the finish line in 12.23. Isabella Pescador led the Eagles in the prelims with a time of 11.31.
- Riddle and Doherty represented the Eagles in the weight throw on Saturday. Riddle finished 13th with a mark of 11.28 meters. Doherty was right behind with a mark of 11.25 meters to finish 14th.

- Edgewood University will compete at the Dick Hendricks Invite, hosted by Ripon College on Saturday, February 14. Action is set for 11:00 a.m. from Ripon, Wis.
