RIPON, Wis. – Sophomore Ayden Price collected two wins and a fourth place finish to lead the Edgewood University men's track & field at the NACC Indoor Championships. Price was named 2026 NACC Indoor Track Athlete of the Meet. Tyler Mueller added a pair of top-10 performances.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Price brought home the NACC Championship in the 60 meter dash with a NACC Championship record and school record time of 6.80. The sophomore brought home another win, crossing the finish line in school record time of 21.95 in the 200 meter dash. Price added a fourth place finish in the long jump, finishing with a mark of 6.79 meters. Price's long jump distance goes down as fourth longest in school history.
- On the distance side, Mueller finished seventh in the mile run with a time of 4:30.95. Mueller added an 11th place finish in the 3000 meter run (9:25.71) and ninth place in the 5000 meter run (16:12.98).
- Nick Pacubas competed in the 800 and mile run for the Eagles. Pacubas came across the finish line in 2:15.63 in the 800, followed by 5:09.28 in the mile.
- Tristan posted a PR performance in the 400 meter on Saturday. Tristan came across the finish line in 57.99. He added a time of 8.05 in the 60-meter dash prelims on Friday and a 25.98 in the 200 meter dash.
THE MEET
- Price along with Austin Springer of MSOE and Kyan Lyntz of St. Norbert College all tied for NACC Track Athlete of the Meet.
UP NEXT
- The Eagles will have select individuals compete at the Ripon Final Qualifier + Multi on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7. Action will take place at the Willmore Center in Ripon, Wis.
