KENOSHA, Wis. – The Edgewood University track & field team competed at the Lake Michigan Open hosted by UW-Parkside on Saturday. Kylee Doherty posted a win in the shot put to lead the Eagles.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Doherty led the Eagles in the shot put on Saturday. The senior won the event with a distance of 12.22 meters. Keilley Riddle added an eighth place finish with a distance of 8.73 meters. Allison Foley rounded out the Eagles lineup with a 10th place finish and distance of 7.68 meters.
- Doherty and Riddle also competed for the Eagles in the weight throw. Doherty placed ninth with a distance of 11.53 meters. Riddle posted a mark of 8.34 meters.
- Isabella Pescador and Ellie Lill represented the Eagles in the 55 meter hurdles prelims, 200 meter dash, and 400 meter dash. Pescador posted a PR time of 1:14.91 in the 400-meter dash. Lill followed her up with a time of 1:20.72 in the 400. Lill added a PR time of her own (32.93) in the 200-meter dash.
- Nick Pacubas competed in the 400-meter dash and 800-meter run on Saturday. Pacubas placed 18th (59.47) in the 400, followed by 28th (2:23.49) in the 800.
- Tyler Mueller ran a 4:40.18 to finish 13th in the Mile run. Mueller followed that up with a 16th place finish of 9:46.94 in the 3000 meter run.

- Edgewood University will travel to the University of Dubuque on Saturday, February 7. Action at the Spartans Shootout will take place at A.Y. McDonald Indoor Track.
