RIPON, Wis. – Ayden Price impressed for the Eagles at the Red Hawk Opener hosted by Ripon College on Friday. Price set the indoor school record in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash in his first competition of 2026. Three other Eagles competed on Friday evening, with a personal-best mark coming for Yitzak Tristan.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Price opened 2026 breaking his own school record in the 60-meter dash. Price opened the afternoon with a 7.00 finish in the 60-meter dash prelims to qualify second. The sophomore wasn't satisfied, claiming the win in the event in the final with a personal-best and school record time of 6.93.
- Price added his second school record of the day in the 200-meter dash. Price posted a time of 22.81 to finish fourth in the event. Tristan posted a personal-best mark of 25.64 in the event, finishing 22nd.
- Tristan added a 13th place finish in the 400-meter. He finished with a time of 59.95.
- Tyler Mueller and Nick Pacubas represented the Eagles in the Mile run and 800-meter run on Friday. Mueller posted a time of 4:48.72 in the Mile run, while Pacubas finished with a time of 5:33.62. Mueller added a time of 2:14.30 in the 800-meter run while Pacubas clocked in at 2:20.65.
- Price closed out the meet with the Long Jump and Shot Put. In the Long Jump, Price set the seventh-longest mark in program history with a jump of 6.65 meters to finish fourth. Price added a 10.77 meter throw in the Shot Put, which is also seventh-longest in program history.
