2025 Women's Soccer Seniors

Eagles Women's Soccer Preview

Edgewood University Women's Soccer enters 2025 looking to return to the NACC Tournament. They have posted three years in a row with nine or more wins and look to push forward with a talented mix of returners and newcomers.

“It's been a fantastic pre-season, and we couldn't be more excited to officially kick things off this upcoming Friday," said head coach Derek Helmer. "The girls have worked extremely hard and the overall competitiveness is the best I've seen during my time at Edgewood University. This year we're anchored by eight outstanding seniors who have helped set the tone from day one. They've been strong leaders and have helped assimilate a talented group of newcomers to the squad. We’re excited about the depth that we have this year at every single position and that has really helped our preseason to be intense and productive. With a strong returning group and a great mix of incoming talent, we look forward to getting back to the NACC Tournament."

“The NACC has gotten very competitive from top to bottom and we know that every conference game will be a battle,” said Helmer. “We’ve also scheduled CCIW champions, Carroll University, as well as WIAC champions, UW-La Crosse, which will both be early season tests in our non conference matchups. We look forward to being tested early and hope that that will set us up for conference success down the road."
