Preview: NACC Women’s Lacrosse Tournament Championship

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's lacrosse team will play in the NACC Tournament Final. The Eagles will face off with No. 1 Lake Forest College on Saturday, May 3. EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com gets you prepared for Saturday's league tournament final.

2025 NACC WOMEN'S LACROSSE TOURNAMENT PAGE

HOW THEY GOT HERE
- Edgewood College women's lacrosse has won six-straight contests, including the first round and semifinal rounds of the NACC Tournament. The Eagles closed out the regular season with four-straight wins in conference play to claim the third seed in the tournament. In the NACC Tournament First Round, the Eagles face Beloit College. The Eagles took down the Buccaneers via six goals in the final quarter. On Wednesday, the Eagles defeated Aurora for the first time in program history via a golden goal in overtime.

- Top-seeded Lake Forest College went undefeated in conference play to earn a first-round bye in the NACC Tournament. The Foresters hosted No. 5 MSOE on Wednesday, winning 15-6. The Foresters took a confident 8-2 advantage at halftime of the semifinal matchup. A six goal fourth quarter helped them cruise to victory. Ashley Carr recorded five goals and one assist for the Foresters attack. Krissy Kuwahara recorded five draw controls, three caused turnovers, and scored three times. Cecila Adams recorded 10 saves in net for the Foresters.

LAST MEETING
- The Eagles and Foresters last met on Wednesday, April 9. Lake Forest defeated the Eagles 17-8 from Lake Forest, Illinois. Emma Raupp netted a hat trick for the Eagles, all three goals coming via free-position shots. Zoee Pond recorded a career-best 18 saves in net for the Eagles. Christina Eloe collected a game-high six draw controls and caused two turnovers.

- Jenna Doctor, NACC Attacker of the Year, scored seven goals for the Foresters. Emma Sharp dished out a game-best six assists and scored four times. Shannon Gibbons collected five draw controls. Cecilia Adams recorded six saves in net for the Foresters.

NACC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- Edgewood College and Lake Forest College are both appearing the NACC Tournament Final for the first time in program history. The Eagles won their first NACC Tournament game vs Beloit in the first round. They followed that up with a thrilling OT upset over Aurora in the semifinal round.

- Lake Forest College, the NACC Regular Season Champions are appearing in their first season in the NACC.
