Eagles fall to Foresters in NACC Tournament Final

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's lacrosse team faced Lake Forest College in the NACC Tournament Final on Saturday. The Eagles struggled to overcome an early fourth quarter advantage from the Foresters, falling by a score of 21-7.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lake Forest College (14-4) scored their first three goals within two minutes on Saturday. Emma Raupp and Christina Eloe scored for Edgewood College (10-8) in the opening quarter, but it wasn't enough to slow down the Foresters, who scored 10 times in the opening 15 minutes.

- Lake Forest continued to pour on the offensive attack in the second quarter, scoring five goals. The Foresters led the Eagles 15-3 at halftime.

- The Eagles scored twice in both the third and fourth quarters, but consistency from the Foresters helped them take home the NACC Tournament crown.

- Lake Forest College led Edgewood College 17-14 in draw controls on the afternoon.

TOP PERFORMERS
- Raupp led the Eagles with five goals on the afternoon. The senior's final goal gave her an Edgewood College season best 100 points in 2025. Raupp recorded 10 draw controls.

- Eloe scored twice for the Eagles.

- Zoee Pond recorded nine saves in net.

- Lauryn Brown collected two caused turnovers.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Raupp, Eloe and Pond were named to the NACC All-Tournament team.

THE OPPOSITION
- Jenna Doctor scored seven goals and added one assist.

- Emma Sharp dished out six assists and scored twice.

- Abby Meyer caused four turnovers and recorded a hat trick.
