RIPON, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's track & field team opened the season at the Ripon Winter Open on Saturday. Ayden Price returned to form, claiming the indoor school record in the high jump. Tyler Mueller posted a win for the Eagles in the 3000-meter run.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Price finished fourth in the high jump with an indoor school record and personal record mark of 1.75 meters.
- Price added a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash. Price's time of 22.85 is the second fastest in the Eagle record books. The sophomore added a second-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.82 meters, which is third longest in school history.
- Mueller claimed victory in the 3000-meter run on Saturday. The senior's time of 9:09.36 was a PR mark and good for seventh on the Eagles honor roll list.
- Yitzak Tristan also competed for the Eagles on Saturday. The junior posting a 16th place finish in the 300-meter dash with a time of 41.67. Tristan added a time of 8.09 in the 60-meter dash prelims.

- Edgewood University will return to action on Friday, January 23 at the Red Hawk Opener. Action is set for 4:00 p.m. from Ripon, Wisconsin.
