Preview: Eagles Cross Country Ready for NACC Championships

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Edgewood University cross country programs are geared up for Saturday's 2025 NACC Championships, hosted by St. Norbert College. The Eagles are looking to build upon personal-best finishes from the fall season.

EdgewoodEagles.com gets you ready for Saturday's races which will be held at Phoenix Alumni Cross Country Course in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The men's race will kick things off at 11:00 a.m. followed by the women's race at 12:00 p.m.

MEN'S RACE
- Tyler Mueller has led the men's program all season, posting his best finish of eighth place at the Private College Championships. Mueller ran a PR time of 27:10.5 on Saturday, October 18 on the campus of Concordia Wisconsin. The senior also owns two top-15 finishes, coming at the 25th Annual Warrior Invitational and Ken Weidt Classic.

- Nick Pacubas has competed in every race for the Eagles this fall. The sophomore's best came at the Ken Weidt Classic on Saturday, September 13. Pacubas posted an 8K time of 32:45.7 at the Ken Weidt Classic.

- MSOE has recorded four-straight NACC Championships – 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. In 2024, the Raiders captured the championship with 21 points, finishing 56 points ahead of runner-up Wisconsin Lutheran College. Xander Gottner captured the individual win with a time of 24:59.91.

WOMEN'S RACE
- Ellie Lill has shown improvement through her first season with the Eagles. The freshman opened the season at the St. Norbert College Tom Barry Invitational with a 5K time of 34:42.3. Since then, Lill has posted a PR time in all but once race. Lill's best 6K time of 37:18.2 came at the Private College Championships on Saturday, October 18.

- Concordia Wisconsin claimed the 2024 NACC Championship with a meet-low 26 points to take the top spot ahead of Aurora University (43). Deyanneira Colon Maldonado of Aurora University claimed the individual title with a time of 21:41.95.
