Box Score ST. PETER, Minn. – This past weekend, the Edgewood College Women's Tennis team traveled to Minnesota to compete at the always-challenging ITA Midwest Regional, as well as the Fall Invite, both hosted by Gustavus Adolphus University. The invite attracts several of the top Division III women's tennis players in the region each year.
EAGLES RESULTS

Kai Heineman won two matches in her consolation bracket of the singles tournament, after falling in her opening match. Heineman won by scores of 6-1, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-2.

Sydney Verbauwhede won her first match in the singles bracket 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) before being eliminated in the second round.

Alicia Picard,
Ally Verbauwhede, and
Alyssa Carew all dropped their first match in the singles tournament and were forced to the consolation bracket as well. Picard (6-1, 6-2) and Carew (6-1, 6-4) each gained wins there.
- In doubles play, both Eagles team in the ITA Doubles Tournament picked up one win before being eliminated. Carew and Heineman won a match 8-4, while the Verbauwhede sisters posted an 8-3 victory.
