MADISON, Wis. -
Sy Staver capped a wild finish at MSOE with a game-winner with two seconds left to push the Edgewood College men's basketball team to their first NACC tournament semifinal appearance since 2015 against No. 1 seed Aurora on Friday night. A win over the Spartans would send the Eagles to the NACC championship and a chance at an automatic NACC tournament berth on Saturday.
Aurora will be providing live stats and live video for Friday night and if necessary, Saturday night's game. Links to all coverage can be found at EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com/coverage when available.
Edgewood College has lost six of their last seven meetings to Aurora, but split theseason series this year. The Eagles slide against Aurora started with a 77-69 loss in the NACC semifinals on February 24, 2015 and was also the last time both teams met up in the conference tournament. Five of the Eagles six all-time wins against Aurora have come by single digits, including a 66-65 win on November 25, 2017.
If they win, the Eagles will face either No. 5 seed Concordia Wisconsin or No. 2 seed Benedictine in the NACC Championship on Saturday.
