KENOSHA, Wis. – Junior Jaclyn Swift dropped a thrilling three-set match, but the rest of the Edgewood College women's tennis team had a tough go in a 9-0 defeat to Carthage College on Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED                                                   
-Swift allowed a one set lead to slip away in a 4-6, 6-2, 10-5 loss at No. 4 singles
-It was only Swift's third, three-set match of the season and first defeat
-Alyssa Carew was the only other Eagle to win more than five total games as the Lady Reds swept the rest of the eight matches
-The Eagles dropped their sixth straight and the Lady Reds broke their two-game skid
