HARTFORD, Wis. – Junior Zach Hentrich placed third overall to lead the Edgewood College men's golf team to a third-place finish at the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational that took place on Sunday and Monday afternoons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Hentrich notched his third top-5 performance in four starts this season with a 6-over par 150 (74-76)
-In a NACC-heavy meet, the Eagles finished third of eight conference schools and beat out Marian by two strokes and Benedictine by four strokes
-Dawson Hinz (163), Jensen Peck (168), and Alex Wedige (170) rounded out the varsity scoring while Matt Tucker (165) and Daniel Smith (final round 84) played as individuals
-The Eagles were the only team, besides 13th-place Finlandia, to improve their team score in the final round
-Bad weather shortened Sunday's opening round forcing many golfers to complete both rounds on Monday
FOR THE OPPONENTS
-Led by medalist Matt Meneghetti's even par 144 (74-70), Carthage won the team title with a 604
