Zach Hentrich tied for second and led the Edgewood College men's golf team to a fifth-place finish, that included a final round 301, at a competitive Midwest Region Classic that featured 175 golfers and 32 teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Eagles moved from eighth place to fifth after shooting one of the best final rounds of the tournament (301) and their best two-round score of the season (612)
-The 10-stroke improvement from round one was the second-best of the top-10 teams
-Only three strokes away from Luther College's winning score (609)
-Hentrich shot a 73 each day to record a score of (146, +2) in his best finish of the season
-Freshman
Dawson Hinz also finished in the top-10 with an eighth-place showing (149, +5)

Alex Wedige (157, +13),
Michael Wiebe (161, +17), and
Daniel Smith (170, +26) rounded out the Eagles Varsity
-Wiebe improved seven shots from round one, the largest on the team, with a final round 77
FOR THE OPPONENTS
-The top-4 teams were separated by two strokes, including Luther (609) and followed by three CCIW schools tied for second
-Edgewood College was the top-finisher out of six NACC schools, Aurora was next up in 12th place (636)
