Edgewood College vs. Marian & #3 Benedictine preview (.pdf)

MADISON, Wis. - In search of its third NACC win of the season, Edgewood College (2-19, 2-14 NACC) travels twice this week for a pair of conference showdowns. The Eagles will take on Marian University (10-11, 7-9 NACC) in Fond du Lac, Wis., on Tuesday, Feb. 9 and will then take on No. 3 Benedictine University (22-0, 17-0 NACC) on Saturday, Feb. 13 in Lisle, Ill. Tuesday's mid-week matchup is set for a 7 pm tip while things will get underway at 2 pm on Saturday.

Edgewood College has had a slight advantage against both teams in their repective all-times series. The Eagles have 42 wins while Marian has 31 in the two teams' storied history. Marian has won eight of the last nine, including a 74-58 win on Jan. 14 earlier this year. Benedictine has won three of the last four against the Eagles, although Edgewood College has won 11 of the 19 all-time meetings. Benedictine was ranked 10th in the country on Dec. 12 earlier this season when it beat Edgewood College 77-57 at the Edgedome.
