Edgewood College vs. Beloit College & North Park University & Knox College preview (.pdf)

MADISON, Wis. - A new chapter in the Edgewood College men's soccer program will begin Tuesday, as head coach Derek Helmer and the Eagles will play their season opener at home against Beloit College. The match will begin at 7 pm from Breese Stevens Field and it will be Helmer's first game as head coach of the program. The Eagles will then hit the road for a match against North Park in Chicago, Ill., on Friday at 7 pm and a matchup with Knox College on Sunday at 1:30 pm in Galesburg, Ill.

Edgewood College will provide both live video and live stats for their season opener at home on Tuesday. North Park will not be providing live coverage on Friday, but Knox College will offer live video for the afternoon match on Sunday. Edgewood College and Beloit College have been very even in their 14 all-time meetings. The Buccaneers have a slight advantage and are 7-6-1 against the Eagles. Edgewood College has had their number of late and has won the last three and all came in shutout fashion. North Park also holds a slight edge with a record of 2-1-1 while the meeting between Knox College and Edgewood College will be the first in history.
