ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Edgewood College had trouble in singles and doubles action Sunday afternoon against the Augustana College Knights, falling 9-0 for their third-straight defeat.

The Eagles put up the biggest fights at No. 1 doubles and No. 6 singles. Morgan Wilson and Anna Miles teamed up to take on Lauren Goggin and Mollie Magee and managed four points for an 8-4 loss. The Eagles then went on to fall 8-0 at No. 2 doubles and 8-2 at No. 3.

In singles play, Wilson was the lone Eagles player in the top three slots to register a point in a set. She fell to Lauren Goggin 6-0, 6-2. Protz made things interesting at No. 6 with a 6-0, 6-4 loss to Vicki Andonova.

Edgewood College has two matches remaining before the NACC Women's Tennis Tournament on Saturday, May 2. They will play UW-Oshkosh at home on Sunday, April 19 and Beloit College on Saturday, April 25.
