Eagles to be tested by six opponents in Fort Myers

After having their season opener at Christian Brothers University cancelled, the Eagles will begin the 2015 season 1,440 miles from home in Fort Myers, Florida. Edgewood College will take part in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic, playing 10 games over seven days. Two of the Eagles six opponents are picked to win their conferences this season.

Edgewood College will be playing Augustana College (Ill.), Plymouth State University and Knox College for the first time in the school history. Among the other opponents, the Eagles are 3-0 against Keystone College, with their last game taking place in 2009. Edgewood College will play UW-Stout for the first time since 1996. The Blue Devils won that game 6-3. The Eagles and Bethel University (Minn.) have played a doubleheader in each of the last two seasons with the Royals sweeping both of them. The Royals own a 5-1 all-time record over the Eagles.
