Eagles hope to punch NACC ticket this week

MADISON, Wis. - Edgewood College (10-12, 9-8 NACC) can clinch a spot in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tournament with a win and losses from either Lakeland College or Aurora University on Wednesday evening. NACC-leading Wisconsin Lutheran (17-4, 15-2) will head to town on Wednesday for a 7 pm game from the Edgedome while Aurora University will visit Saturday for a 2 pm game. Wednesday will be the annual Play4Kay game in support of cancer research and fans are encouraged to wear pink to show support for the cause.

Edgewood College and Wisconsin Lutheran have been fairly even in the past, with the Warriors leading the all-time series 29-23. The Warriors have been dominant as of late by winning the past seven contests. The Warriors won late last season by a score of 72-55. Edgewood College leads the all-time series against Aurora 8-4, but the Spartans came out on top earlier this year by a score of 64-51. The Spartans have won only two of the last nine games between the two.
