Edgewood College vs. Marian University & Dominican University preview (.pdf)MADISON, Wis. - Edgewood College hopes to remain near the top of the NACC standings this week after two key road matchups against Marian University and Dominican University. The Eagles will take on the Sabres at 7 pm Wednesday night in Fond du Lac, Wis., and will travel to River Forest, Ill., Saturday for a 4:15 pm showdown against the Stars. The Eagles beat both teams in the Edgedome earlier this month and currently sit in fourth place in the NACC with a 7-4 league record. Aurora sits in first place with an 11-2 record.

The Eagles have been very successful historically against both opponents this week. They lead the all-time series 42-29 against the Sabres but Marian has had the upper hand in recent years. The Eagles won the last matchup against Marian but the Sabres won six straight prior to the last meeting. Dominican has only three wins in 23 all-time meetings against the Eagles. One of those wins came on Jan. 25, 2014 as the Stars won 59-57 in the Edgedome.
