Semifinal Box Score (vs. Benedictine) // Final Box Score (vs. Concordia Wis.)

MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's tennis team continued their conference dominance on Saturday, completing their second undefeated run through both the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference regular season and postseason. The Eagles topped Concordia Wisconsin 5-0 in the NACC Tournament Championship to seal their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance and fifth in the last six seasons.

As they have done all season, the Eagles (19-8, 11-0 NACC) jumped out to an early lead behind strong doubles play. Morgan Wilson and Anna Miles dispatched the Falcons' top duo 8-3 which was followed by an 8-3 win by Brooke McBain and Laura Olsen. Sarah Rendon and Ellie Wilkie secured the doubles sweep with a 8-5 win at No. 3 over Concordia Wisconsin's Amanda Ropiak and Michaela Wagner.

In singles play, Wilson and McBain sealed the match. Wilson cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Emily McCormick at No. 1 singles for the fourth point of the match. The Eagles needed just one point to clinch and McBain came through with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Ropiak in the fifth spot.

Earlier in the day, Edgewood College knocked off Benedictine University 5-0 to earn a trip to the championship match. Wilson and McBain were also the first two singles to finish against BU.

The Eagles finished the year 33-0 in doubles play against NACC opponents. With 19 wins, Edgewood College also set a new school record for most victories in a single season, topping last year's 18.

For the Eagles, the win marked the second straight NACC Tournament title and third overall. Edgewood College has reached the NCAA Tournament five times in the past six years. On Monday, Edgewood College and head coach Ben Oestreich will find out their first round opponent and regional site assignment. The Eagles are 0-4 in their four previous NCAA Tournament appearances.
