After an amazing 8-7 victory in a penalty kick shootout at Aurora University, the Edgewood College men's soccer team has their sights set on a NACC Tournament semifinal match with top-seeded Benedictine University. The Eagles haven't advanced to the semifinals since 2009 and have never reached the NACC Tournament championship match in their eight years in the league.

Benedictine University came from behind to defeat Edgewood College 2-1 in overtime in the regular season meeting between the two teams in Lisle, Ill. Andrew Aurit scored on a deflected shot in the fifth minute to put the Eagles ahead, but Benedictine rallied with a goal in the 83rd minute to tie and the winner in the 104th minute. Edgewood College won the first eight meetings in this series until Benedictine broke through with a win in 2010.
