Eagles begin New Year with battle against Cougars

Edgewood College will return home for the first time in the new year as they try and snap their six game losing streak. The Eagles will take on Northern Athletics Conference South Division opponent Concordia University Chicago in hopes of earning their first victory in nearly a month.

In their 13-year history, Edgewood College holds a 12-2 advantage over Concordia University Chicago. The Eagles are currently on a three game winning streak over the Cougars. The series between the two teams began in 2000 as Edgewood College won every contest against Concordia Chicago until 2009. In 2010, the Cougars won both meetings, including a game on February 23 in the conference tournament. The last time the two teams met, the Eagles won 74-62 in Madison.
