After not being able to play in the Metrodome a season ago, the Eagles open the 2012 campaign there with a pair of late night games. Edgewood College will first play defending MIAC Tournament champion Hamline University on Friday night before facing Augsburg College on Saturday night.

Both Hamline and Augsburg will provide live stats, and Augsburg will also provide live audio. The link will be available on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com. Edgewood College will videocast and provide live stats for all home baseball games.

Edgewood College and Hamline University have split four contests in history. The first time the teams met, in 2003, the Eagles dropped game one 5-4 before winning the second game 9-5. Edgewood College then topped the Pipers 11-10 in 2008 before falling in game two 16-5.

The last time Edgewood College faced Augsburg College was in 2009 when the Auggies took a 4-3 win in 11 innings. Prior to that, the teams split a doubleheader in 2008. Augsburg leads the all-time series 6-4.
